Actually the taste of pindi chole is different from other chickpeas. Pindi Chole is a spicy food dish and there is no dearth of people who like it. These are made from chickpeas. Its taste is liked not only by children, but also by adults. This dish can also be made in any special event. Because it is also a better option for the guests coming home. This dish is prepared very easily and in less time. Let’s know the easy way to make Pindi Chole.
Chickpeas – 250 grams
Tea bags – 1-2
Cloves – 4-5
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Green cardamom – 4-5
Big cardamom – 4-5
Bay leaves – 2-3
Black salt – 1 pinch
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Pomegranate powder – 1 teaspoon
Finely chopped ginger – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
Dry mango powder – 1 teaspoon
Kasuri fenugreek powder – 1 tsp
Ajwain – 2 teaspoons
Garlic – 5-6 cloves
Tamarind pulp – 1 teaspoon
Green chili – 3-4
Coriander leaves – for garnishing

how to make vegetable
To make Tasty Pindi Chole, we will first clean the chickpeas, then soak them in water overnight. The next day, separate the gram from the water and put it in the pressure cooker and add 3 cups of water on top. Now add tea bags, cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon stick, baking soda, bay leaves and salt as per taste and close the lid. Now put the cooker on high flame. Will turn off the gas after 4-5 whistles of the cooker. After the gas is completely released, open the lid of the cooker and take out the tea bags. Now put dry spices cumin, coriander seeds, black pepper, fennel etc. in a pan and dry roast them on low flame. When the spices start to smell, turn off the gas and grind the spices with the help of a mixer to make powder. Now mix turmeric, dried mango powder, pomegranate powder and asafoetida in this spice powder and keep it in a bowl.

Now put 3-4 spoons of oil in a pan, which will be heated on medium flame. After this, we will put bay leaves in it. Add finely chopped onion, 1 chopped chilli and ginger-garlic paste to it and fry while stirring. When the onion turns golden, add prepared chana masala powder to it and mix. Now roast this spice while stirring it on low flame till it starts to smell. After this add finely chopped tomato and cook it well. Then mix salt according to taste. Add water as required and cover and boil for 15 minutes. Now put gram in it and with the help of the lower part of the spoon, mash a little gram.

After this, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a small pan and add one chili, ginger and red chili powder to it. After roasting it on the flame for a while, turn off the gas. Garnish it with 2-3 tbsp green coriander leaves. Now Punjabi Style Pindi Chole can be served with Roti, Bhature or Naan.
