‘Sarkaru Vari Paata’ Film Review: An aimless creation of a film with a purpose

‘Sarkaru Vari Paata’ Movie Review: In the last about 7-8 years, due to the untiring efforts of the government and social media, new and old economic scams are being exposed in the country. Even in the mind of the common man, it has become very clear that loans worth crores are given to big industrialists by banks and financial institutions, which are never recovered and at the end of the year, they are put in the category of bad debts. Kindly forgiven. On the other hand, the common man who puts his life at stake every day to pay the EMI of a few thousands or lakhs of loans for his small needs, and sometimes in the event of not being able to pay the monthly installment, the bank collects officers or notices. They seem to be averting their eyes out of fear.

Actually, the money collector should worry about getting his money, but the poor and the middle class start worrying about returning the money and the upper class people worry while not taking it and not returning it. This problem and this inequality has been shown in the movie ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ released recently on Amazon Prime Video. A film made on a good purpose becomes very aimless. Telugu cinema has a weakness that they choose the subject well, but make its presentation so dramatic that the audience who have seen different types of content in OTT gets bored quickly, even if there is a super star like Mahesh Babu in the film. Do not be

The film is absurd. Mahesh’s (Mahesh Babu) parents commit suicide due to financial crisis and loan recovery by the bank officer. Understanding the importance of money, Mahesh Babu gets a one rupee coin tattooed on his neck in his childhood and then becomes a big financier in America. He gets hooked on seeing a girl Kalavati (Keerthi Suresh), lends her $10,000, then reaches Vizag to recover it from her father and Rajendranath (Samuthirakani), a member of the Rajya Sabha.

At the airport, he meets the same bank officer (Nadia Moidu) because of whom his father committed suicide. The twist in the story comes when Rajendranath makes the mistake of getting Mahesh beaten up by goons instead of giving money. Rajendranath had taken a loan of 10000 crores from the bank which he does not repay and hence Mahesh stops the whole city from paying the EMI of the bank. After a little action, a little romance and a little conflict, everything goes well. The bank gets his money and Mahesh gets his girlfriend.

It is not a trivial matter for industrialists not to return the loan of the bank. Even today, there are many such industrialists in India who meet bank officials and get the loan sanctioned and by showing their inability to repay, declare it as bad debt. Many industrialists have fled from India and many are still living a life of fun. On the contrary, whenever a employed person takes a loan, the biggest stress on his head is that how and when to repay the loan. If he is not able to pay the EMI in any month or he is late, then he is afraid that someone may come to his house to collect money and destroy his years of prestige. This problem has taken a formidable form today. It is also possible that someday this middle class will revolt like shown in this film but that seems like a dream. Only he knows what was going on in the director’s mind before making a light hearted film on such a sensitive subject. Mahesh Babu is a superstar and many of his films are dubbed or remade in Hindi. Despite this, he made such a nonsensical film because it is a difficult task to understand.

Writer-director Parshuram narrated the idea of this story to Mahesh Babu in 2018, which was approved in 2020. If Mahesh Babu is in the film then it is necessary to have excellent action. If Mahesh Babu is in the film then it is also necessary to have excellent dance and songs. The film has both but what is wrong with the film is exaggeration. Mahesh Babu goes to America and becomes a loan provider, opens a number of companies and not only Indians living in America but foreigners also take loans from him. Those who do not repay the loan, Mahesh washes them while hitting the dialogue. When the lender Mahesh sees Keerti, he gets shocked and gives the loan without any documents. When Keerti leaves after taking the loan, she goes in a Lexus car, Mahesh doesn’t suspect anything but follows her on his bike (without a helmet). When Mahesh learns that Keerti had actually taken money from him to gamble, Mahesh still can’t do much except slap Keerti. Kirti’s father was a member of the Rajya Sabha in India. Member of parliament But on his request, the US police sends a sniper in a helicopter to scare Mahesh Babu. Mahesh leaves for Vizag the very next day without inquiring about Keerti and her father. Mahesh stops Kirti’s father who is a Member of Parliament on the way and asks for his money. Keerti’s father’s brother-in-law is her right hand and is very stupid.

Many flights of fancy have been taken in the film in the name of film making. There is no logic in many scenes. Mahesh’s character is good but as he is in every film, he is like that, only this time there are few taali peeto dialogues. As long as Mahesh appears on the screen, there is still some interest in the film. In a song “Ma Ma Mahesha) both Mahesh and Kirti got a chance to dance, which was also liked by the audience. No one doubts Mahesh’s action ability. Salman Khan is there in Hindi remake of most of his films, so you can understand what kind of mood the film will have. Kirti is beautiful to look at, does a bit of acting and more than this, her usefulness has not been kept in this film. Aish’s life was going on in America on the money of her billionaire father, but Hero’s love influenced her so much that she takes the blank check given by her father and gives it to Hero so that the bank money can be returned. In the role of MP Rajendranath, Samuthirakani has kept similar expressions in each scene. He is a villain but is the father of the heroine, so he does not get much hatred nor does he get angry, whereas Samuthirakani is a capable director and has directed many successful Tamil films. Some old faces like Ajay, Brahma ji, Vennala Kishore, Ravi Prakash, Subbaraju, Tanikella Bharani are present in the film. Nagendra Babu (Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s brother and filmmaker) also plays Mahesh’s father in the film.

S Thaman’s music can be put in the funny category, although Mahesh Babu had removed a very big action sequence from the film, then Thaman expressed his displeasure because Thaman worked hard in the background score of this scene. Was. On the contrary, Mahesh did not like Thaman’s background music at all and he also complained about this to the director. Well, despite the tension, songs composed by Thaman like “Kalavati” and “Penny” had become huge hits. Cinematographer Madhi, who has shown his talent in films like Shaitaan and Ghazi Attack, expected better work, just like Drishyam series editor Martand K Venkatesh. It is not the work of both that it should be included in their better works. The action choreography of twin brothers Ram and Laxman is the strongest aspect of this film. Mahesh Babu’s fight sequence at the very beginning of the film enthralls the audience. The climax fight is quite typical but Mahesh Babu’s fans will be very happy.

Recently, Mahesh Babu was seen talking big things in favor of his decision not to work in Hindi films, due to which his Hindi audience got angry. With the help of the media, an attempt has been made to show this film doing a business of 200 crores, although both the critics and the audience have kept a soft and warm attitude towards the film. The film looks strange even though it is masala because the subject of the film is serious and its treatment is filmy. The Hindi Dub has not been released yet.
