Umesh Yadav Plays In County Cricket: Many prominent players of the Indian cricket team who are seen playing only in Test format and are running out of the team at the moment. Meanwhile, fast bowler Umesh Yadav, who was not a part of Team India in the Test series against the West Indies, has now decided to play in county cricket.

In the final match of the World Test Championship 2023, Umesh Yadav was a part of the playing 11 of the Indian team, but he could not manage to perform anything special with the ball. For this reason, he was not included in the announced team for the Test series against the West Indies. Umesh has now again signed up with the Essex team for the remaining 3 matches of the County Championship regarding his return.

Umesh Yadav has so far taken a total of 288 international wickets for the Indian team in 57 Tests, 75 ODIs and 9 T20 matches. Earlier in the year 2022 also, Umesh participated in the County Championship and at that time he was a part of the Middlesex team.

Umesh expressed happiness by joining Essex

In Essex County, Umesh Yadav will replace New Zealand fast bowler Doug Bracewell. Umesh will get a chance to play matches against Northampetshire, Hampshire and Middlesex in the remaining 3 matches. After joining the Essex team, Umesh said that he is very happy and he hopes that he will be able to make some significant contribution to the team’s success. Apart from Umesh, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat are playing for Sussex in Division Two of the County Championship.
