Gulshan Kashyap /Jamui, A bread chop shop in the district is so famous that 200 to 300 pieces of bread chops are sold here daily. Not only this, people from 30 kilometers away come to this shop to eat the chops here and this is the reason that every evening there is a crowd of street food lovers. This shop is near Singh Auto Fuel Center on Jamui-Khaira main road. People have forgotten the name of the person who runs this shop, now the customers know him by the name ‘Bread Chop’.
The director of the shop Saurabh Kumar said that he is running this shop since 2018. Earlier this shop was run by his father. Although earlier things like biscuits, cold drinks were sold in his shop. After this the idea came and started making bread chops. Since then till today people come from far and wide to eat bread chops. He told that 200 to 300 bread chops are sold daily and the daily income from bread chops is around Rs 3000. Saurabh does a business of close to one lakh in a month from his bread chop shop.
Saurabh told that his shop opens at 7 in the morning, but starts making bread chops from 4:30 in the evening. This process continues till 7:30 pm and bread chops are available in the shop within about 3 hours. Meanwhile, people come to his shop and enjoy bread chops. Saurabh says that people from Laxmipur, 30 km away from Jamui district headquarters, also come to his shop. Not only this, people also reach from other areas and enjoy the chops at his shop. The price of bread shop available at this shop is Rs.15. Green vegetables are also used a lot in this. The green chutney made in Saurabh’s shop further enhances its taste. This is also one of the reasons why people come from far and wide to eat the bread chops made by Sourav.
