How to add subtitle in video
For this, first of all login to your channel on desktop, click on the upload videos icon and start uploading videos. When you upload the video, you have to give many details related to the video, fill it. After this, on going to Video Elements, you get the option of Add Subtitles. When you click on Add, you get three options Upload File, Auto-Sync and Type Manually.

If you have the script which you have used in your own video. So you can choose the With timing option. If you need to sync the text, then you can choose the Without timing option. With this, YouTube itself automatically syncs the subtitles in your video.

By choosing this option, you will copy and paste your caption, then YouTube will auto sync the text according to the video.
type manually
With this option you can also manually type the subtitles for your videos. After this, once you check the subtitle, match it with the video. If needed, you can change the timing by editing it and if any word is wrong, you can also correct it.

After the video is published, go to the channel and check the video. On turning on the subtitles, you will get the subtitles along with the video.
