Demand for conch sweets increased on Rakshabandhan, here is 40 year old shop


Kailash Kumar / Bokaro. On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, more than one sweets are being seen in the market. In this episode, Rajasthan Sweet, located at Chas Dharamshala turn of Bokaro, has a lot of conch shell sweets. People buy this sweet especially on festivals and big occasions.

People reach his shop from far and wide. Piyush Sharma, director of Rajasthan Sweets, told that his shop is about 40 years old and there is a lot of demand for conch sweets every year during festivals. On the other hand, in view of the festivals, more than 25 varieties of sweets made of special khova and ghee are included in his shop.

Sale of 8 to 10 kg daily
Told that the maximum order at the shop comes for conch shell sweets, the price of which is Rs 520 per kg. One piece of conch shell sweets costs Rs.15. Usually 8 to 10 kg of conch shell sweets are sold daily at his shop. Regarding the method of making this sweet, Piyush told that first mawa is made by heating fresh milk, then cardamom and sugar are added to it and mixed in it. It is prepared by the artisan by rolling it well with hands and giving it the shape of a conch shell.

people like the taste
Piyush told that his shop remains open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Rohit, a customer who came to buy sweets at the shop, told that the taste of conch shell sweets is very good. Eating it on festivals makes the mind happy. Apart from this, on this Rakshabandhan too, this sweet has become famous all over the city.
