Ukraine has killed the most journalists 

According to the report, Ukraine recorded the highest number of deaths of media personnel reporting the war this year than any other country. Most of the media persons who died were Ukrainian. Anthony Belanger, secretary general of the International Federation of Journalists, said in a statement that failure to ensure the safety of media workers would only embolden those who seek to stifle the free flow of information and undermine people’s ability to hold their leaders accountable. do. 

IFJ said that the increase in cases of killing of journalists in the year 2022 also contributed to the terror of criminal organizations in Mexico and the breakdown of law and order in Haiti. 2022 was the deadliest year for journalists in Mexico, which has been ranked as the most dangerous country outside a war-torn country.
