Dhir Rajput, Firozabad: Saffron milk is being sold in abundance to maintain good health in winters. People come to drink a lot of creamy milk in the evening to build their body. Pure milk is available in Kulhar at Duli Mohalla intersection of Firozabad. There is a huge crowd of people drinking it in the evening. This Kulhar milk is quite famous in the city.
Ashok Kumar, who runs a shop in the name of Ashok Doodhwala near Duli Mohalla intersection of Firozabad, had an exclusive conversation with Local 18 and said that he has been selling milk for the last 22 years. Earlier they used to sell milk for Rs 5 to Rs 15. Everyone likes saffron milk during winter season and it is also very beneficial for health. People start coming to his shop to drink milk in the evening.
Kulhar milk is being liked a lot
The shopkeeper told that milk is brought to his place from the village and then it is heated in a pan. In which things like saffron, cream etc. are mixed. Due to which milk gets a different taste. At the same time, this milk gives different strength to the body in winter. Its price starts from Rs 20 per kulhar and this milk is sold for up to Rs 50 per kulhar.
Milk is available from 5 pm to 11 pm
While talking, the shopkeeper said that the sale starts at his shop from 5 pm and people come to drink milk till 11 pm. At his shop, people not only from Firozabad city but also from nearby villages demand saffron milk. About 40 to 50 kg milk is sold till late night.
