Lalan Singh has left the post of President of Janata Dal United. Now Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will hold the post of party president, he will be the leader of the party.

JDU leaders rejected the news of change in party leadership
The national executive of Janata Dal United is running in the Constitution Club of Delhi. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, JDU national president Rajeev Ranjan (Lalan) Singh and other party leaders attended the meeting. Amid speculations over his possible elevation as national president of Janata Dal (United), Bihar Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary dismissed all reports and said the party’s current national president Lalan Singh is doing fine.
Expressing surprise on the question whether he will be the next national president of JDU, Minister Chaudhary said that you are the first person who is telling me this. Emphasizing on the current leadership, Chaudhary said that at present, Lalan Singh is the national president of Janata Dal (United). If he is the national head, why would such a thing come up? He is doing fine. Chaudhary further explained that the matter will be discussed within the party, addressing any potential concerns raised by the agenda during the meeting.
Senior party leader KC Tyagi also stressed that the meeting will be a regular one in which alliances in the states will also be discussed. KC Tyagi said that there will be a national executive meeting of JDU today, in which the current political scenario and financial environment of the country will be discussed and seat sharing to target other states will also be discussed.

JDU Meeting Live: Lalan Singh resigns; Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can take over the post of JDU President
Friday is an important day not only for JDU but also for the politics of Bihar. JDU’s national executive meeting will be held at 11.30 am. After this, the National Council meeting will be held again at 3.30 pm. After these meetings, senior JDU leaders will hold a press conference at 5.30 pm.
It is being said that party president Lalan Singh may resign from his post and propose to make Nitish Kumar the president. However, this has not been confirmed yet. JDU will pass political and economic proposals in the executive meeting. At the same time, it will also raise questions on the policies of BJP and the government.
