While on one hand KK Pathak is continuously visiting schools to improve the education system, on the other hand a case of an in-charge headmaster being drunk and creating ruckus in the school has come to light. The police have arrested the headmaster in charge. The matter pertains to primary school Barbatol of Kanthudih village of Benipur block of Darbhanga district, where the in-charge headmaster Ramchandra Mandal has been arrested by the police in an intoxicated state from the school premises. Local people say that the in-charge Principal Ramchandra Mandal reached the school drunk and started creating ruckus at the school gate by abusing the children coming to the school and everyone passing by. The local villagers tried to convince the headmaster but he continued creating ruckus. Seeing the commotion, a crowd of villagers gathered near the school. On the information of local people, police of Bahera police station also reached the spot. The police tested the headmaster with a breath analyzer, which confirmed that the headmaster was drunk.

Police arrested in front of BEO

The villagers informed Block Education Officer Indu Sinha about the in-charge headmaster creating ruckus under the influence of alcohol in the school premises. As soon as information about this was received, Block Education Officer Indu Sinha reached the school premises. In front of the BEO, Baheda police station incharge BK Brajesh arrested the in-charge headmaster.

In this regard, Block Education Officer Indu Sinha said that the villagers informed about the ruckus in the school premises. When we reached the school, the headmaster in charge was creating a ruckus. On receiving information about the incident, the local police also reached the spot. Upon investigation by the police, he was found drunk. The BEO said that a total of four teachers, including the in-charge headmaster, are posted in this school, out of which only two teachers, including the accused teacher, have been present.
