In this season many types of new sweets are seen in the markets. There is one such sweet, which everyone from children to old people like to eat with great gusto. The name of this special sweet is Gudtil Sweets. Mainly two things are used in making this sweet. In which the first is jaggery and the second is sesame.
The demand for this sweet increases after the winter season arrives. Due to which sweets are available in hundreds of sweet factories across the district. Kundan Kumar, the operator of Kundan Bhunja shop at Hazaribagh District Board Chowk, said that the demand for sweets made from jaggery increases in the winter season, due to which, Mudi Jaggery sweets, Chura Jaggery sweets, Jaggery Almonds, Tilgud sweets are sold at his stall. The making begins. This shop was opened by his father 30 years ago. They are selling seasonal food items here.

He further told that here we mainly do wholesale work and also sell to small customers in retail. To make this sweet, jaggery is brought from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh and sesame seeds are brought from Gaya. To make this, the sesame seeds are roasted and left to cool, then the dough is prepared by mixing the sesame seeds in a string of jaggery syrup. It is packed in heart shape, round laddu or wide shape. Currently available in the shop in packets of Rs 10 to Rs 20.
