Today we have brought you to a shop where tandoori momos have started being made. Before this, tandoori momos were not available anywhere in Almora. Veg Chaap was available in the open Chap Bazaar Almora shop near Anjali Hospital, Almora, but now Tandoori Momos have also started being made. People are coming here to taste these, which are being liked a lot.
Currently two types of tandoori momos are being made in Chaap Bazaar, Afghani and masala tandoori. Their stuffing is veg. After making them, they are steamed and then Afghani and masala momo gravy is applied in it. After which they are being baked in the tandoor. People coming to the shop to eat Chaap are also definitely tasting Tandoori Momo.
Tandoori Momo tastes different
Customer Tarurishi said that she lives here at this shop and today she ate Tandoori Momo for the first time, whose taste she liked very much. He has eaten momos from Almora and other places, but the taste of the momos here was different. He told that although tandoor momos are available outside, now people will get some new taste by getting them here.
Full plate for Rs 140 and 160
Srijan Goyal, owner of Chaap Bazaar, said that along with Chaap, he has also started making Tandoori Momos. Currently Afghani and Masala Tandoori Momos are being made, people are coming here to taste them. Half plate (4 pieces) of Afghani Tandoori Momo is priced at Rs 90 and full plate (8 pieces) is priced at Rs 160, while half plate of Masala Tandoori Momo is priced at Rs 80 and full plate (8 pieces) is priced at Rs 140.
