Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in Kathua to inaugurate a biotech startup expo during his visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Its objective is to develop this district on the international border with Pakistan as a hub for budding entrepreneurs.

Here the Vice President said on Thursday (January 4) that all three branches of the government unanimously canceled the special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution, thereby fulfilling the dream of Jan Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mukherjee. He said, “Congratulations to the executive led by the Prime Minister, the legislature-Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and the judiciary. All three unanimously removed Article 370 from our Constitution.”

The situation in Jammu and Kashmir has changed – Vice President
The Vice President said, “Now there has been a lot of change in the situation of Jammu and Kashmir. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee has left an indelible mark on this land. No one had thought that Article 370 would be ratified. What is said to be temporary in the Constitution This article had become a curse for us.”

A total of 11 startups from Jammu and Kashmir participated in this expo. Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh also participated in this ceremony. The Vice President said, “Today everything has become organized in modern India. In 1989, I was a member of the Lok Sabha and a minister at the Centre. What was the situation in Kashmir at that time? There has been a big change here today.”

He said, “The G20 representatives took with them the golden moments of their visit to Kashmir. People want to invest here, tourism is increasing here and people are happy. No country and no society can progress unless There should not be one law. It is necessary to have equality in the understanding of the law. Some people had such a belief that the law cannot harm them, they are above the law. The hands of law and order cannot reach them. Today it is a reality that no one Not above the law.”

Vice President appreciated the efforts of the government
Vice President Dhankhar appreciated the efforts of the government to provide adequate rights and reservation to women and called it a double benefit in Jammu and Kashmir. The Vice President urged political parties not to hinder development through divisive politics.
