Maharashtra Coronavirus News: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said on Friday that the state government is monitoring the Covid-19 situation and the health department has been asked to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. Talking to reporters during his visit to Sassoon General Hospital here, Pawar said that though corona virus The JN.1 form of COVID-19 is not more lethal but people have been advised to wear masks.
What did Deputy CM Ajit Pawar say?
The Deputy Chief Minister said, “The Health Department informed the Chief Minister on Thursday. Eknath Shinde Informed about the situation (of Covid-19). We are receiving reports on cases daily. The civil surgeon and health department in the state have been instructed to take precautionary measures so that positive cases do not increase. He also appealed to the people to cooperate by following Covid appropriate conduct. Pawar said, “Although the current form of Covid-19 is not very fatal and a person can become healthy by staying in isolation, but still people are requested to wear masks.”
Corona figures in the last 24 hours
On Friday, 761 cases of Covid infection were registered in India while 12 people died due to the infection. This information has been received from the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. According to the data released till 8 am, the number of active Corona infected people in the country decreased from 4334 to 4423 on Thursday. The most active cases of corona in Kerala are 1249. After that there are 1240 cases in Karnataka, 914 in Maharashtra, 190 in Tamil Nadu, 128-128 in Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. According to the data, maximum 12 deaths due to infection were recorded in Kerala. After that, four deaths were recorded in Karnataka, two in Maharashtra and one in Uttar Pradesh.
