But the biggest discussion is about the big egg kept on the roof of a house here.
The cities of Europe are known for their architecture, magnificent and beautiful houses. People like to travel to Spain especially because many people of the world love to eat here. Spain is also one such country. There is a city here which is situated on the sea shore and also has beautiful beaches and natural views. The streets here also attract tourists a lot. But still this city named Cadaqués is not known for these but for a special egg which people come from far and wide to see.
It is located in Corte Brava, Cadaqués city of Spain and is just a few hours away from Spain’s famous city Barcelona. The nightlife and beach bars are not the main attractions here. The history here is full of famous artists whose artworks have given unique things to this city. There are many galleries here.
One of the artists here is Salvador Dali who was famous as a surrealist artist. Their strange artefacts attract tourists from all over the country and abroad. However, his most famous work is the artwork of watches melting on the beach. But people come from far and wide to see this even more strange artwork.
Even though there are many attractions in the city, this egg is talked about the most. (Symbolic photo: Wikimedia Commons)
His clockwork is in his strange house. But more attractive is a huge egg which is standing strangely on the roof of the same house. Dali was very fond of eggs. He used to view the egg in a very philosophical manner as a symbol of life, rebirth and purity. And this egg artwork has made Cadacas famous all over the world.
Dali’s house in the north of Cadaqués is painted white. There are many strange things inside it like a sofa shaped like lips, animal parts in the shelves, etc. Even today the maintainers of this house do not touch the table on which Dali breathed his last. Still, people who come here definitely talk about eggs when they return.
