Om Prakash Niranjan/KodermaVikas Soni, who has worked as a junior safe in many hotels in Africa including Hotel Taj, has started Green Hill Restaurant near Koderma district headquarters. In this restaurant, Soya Malai Chaap is being served like 5 star hotels. Vikas Soni has studied hotel management.
Vikas Soni told Local 18 that the hotel-restaurant business was greatly affected during the lockdown during Covid. Due to which he had to return home. After coming here, he bought land near the Government Mining Institute and moved towards self-employment and started his own restaurant. Here people are being served delicious dishes that are available in big hotels.
Garnish is made from cashew paste
Vikas Soni further said that on the lines of Hotel Taj, Soya Malai Chaap is being served to the people for the first time in Koderma. Which people are liking a lot. This is a much better protein-rich option for vegetarian people. To make it, soya powder is used as the base product. After this, it is garnished with cashew paste and secret spices and cooked in the tandoor. After this it is served to the people with green chutney.
Home delivery facility also available
Vikas told that less spices are used in Soya Malai Chaap. Due to cooking in tandoor, there is no oil left in it. It is quite crispy. A plate of 12 pieces soya malai chaap is being made available to the people for Rs 220. Along with this, home delivery facility is also being provided to the people in Koderma.
