India Maldives Dispute: Amidst the ongoing tension between India and Maldives, China is not desisting from its actions. China is continuously adding fuel to the fire. Now Global Times, which is considered the mouthpiece of China, has written about India that arrogant countries treat others as if they are slaves. Earlier, without taking the name of India, China had said that if any country tried to interfere in the internal affairs of Maldives, it would oppose it.
Global Times has said that India is seeing regional cooperation as its loss but it is not so. Further, the Chinese newspaper has written that the world is keeping an eye on the visit of Maldivian President Mohammed Muizzu to China, but India is taking more interest in it. It is noteworthy that on the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu is on a five-day state visit to China.
The latest controversy shows India’s arrogance
The Times wrote that India is shocked to see Maldives’ increasing closeness with China. Referring to the ongoing coverage in the Indian media, the Chinese mouthpiece has written that all this shows the arrogance of India. India always considers the region of South Asia as backward. In such a situation, India is not able to see these countries progressing.

Global Times has further written that India treating other countries as if they are under India is a distorted mentality. India has no right to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. Earlier, China had said that if any country tried to interfere in the internal affairs of Maldives, it would oppose it. However, even during this period China did not take the name of India. The Chinese newspaper has written that India should be more open about cooperation with regional countries with China.
