While cold day was recorded in Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Forbesganj, Sabour, Gopalganj, Jamui, Vaishali, Aurangabad, Banka, Siwan and Kaimur. Very dense fog prevailed in Purnia while light to moderate fog prevailed in most parts of the state in the morning. In the state of Bihar, the highest maximum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius was recorded in Motihari and the lowest minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Banka, Sabour and Motihari. The average maximum temperature of Bihar state was 17.3 degrees Celsius and the average minimum temperature was 8.3 degrees Celsius.

According to weather analysis, cold westerly wind continues to flow in the state. Also a cyclonic circulation is present over South Bangladesh and surrounding area at an average level of 1.5 km above sea level. The weather in the state will remain dry during the next 24 hours.
