Identity of Aligarh District: Due to the slow pace of preparations for the State Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition (Numaish), the administration has now fixed its inauguration date as February 1 instead of January 28. Whereas it will be formally concluded on 26th February. Earlier the closing was to be held on 22 February.

The exhibition of Aligarh in western Uttar Pradesh is historic. Thousands of spectators gather to see it. In this, businessmen and shopkeepers not only from Aligarh but from many districts and states come and decorate their shops. The exhibition executive had decided to organize the exhibition from 28 January to 22 February. Preparations for the exhibition have started as per the schedule, but its pace is very slow. The administration has decided to postpone the organization and inauguration ceremony of the exhibition by three days on January 17. However, the name of the chief guest for the inauguration has not been announced yet. Even the events to be held in the exhibition have not been approved yet. Now the exhibition will be organized from 1st to 26th February. ADM City Amit Kumar Bhatt said that all preparations have been completed. Due to the grand event of the exhibition, it has been extended by three days.
