Ingredients to make Paya Soup (Paya Soup Ingredients)

Goat leg- 2-3
Onion- 1 chopped
Tomato- 2 chopped
Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tablespoon
Curd- half cup
Turmeric powder- half teaspoon
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Cumin powder- 1 tsp
salt-as per taste
Oil-2-3 tbsp
Coriander leaves for garnish

Paya Soup Recipe

First of all, clean the goat’s feet thoroughly. Keep it immersed in water overnight or for a few hours so that excess blood is removed. Put water and goat leg in a big vessel and boil it until it becomes soft. However, it may take more time, so you can whistle it in the cooker also. Now put oil in a separate pan and heat it. Add chopped onion to it and fry until it turns golden brown. Now add ginger and garlic paste and fry. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft. When oil leaves in the pan, add turmeric, red chilli, coriander, cumin powder and salt. Fry it well until it turns red.

Now beat the curd and add it to the spices. Cook for a few minutes, so that the mixture becomes thick. Put this spice paste in the vessel containing boiled goat legs and mix well. Reduce the flame and cook for another 30-40 minutes. Tasty, healthy paya soup is ready. Put it in a soup bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy drinking it hot.
