In Darbhanga, a speeding car crushed five people and then while escaping, hit an electricity pole. In this incident, five people including a girl have been seriously injured, who are undergoing treatment in DMCH. Regarding the incident, an eyewitness says that a speeding car coming from Darbhanga Junction hit Rakhi Kumari (14), daughter of Manoj Das, resident of Donar, and Prince Kumar (16), son of Sunil Mandal, in front of Donar Chowk petrol pump. Stumbled hard. After the collision, the car rider started speeding away. While trying to escape, the car crushed the bike rider Rahul Kumar and Hrithik Kumar, residents of Mauli village of Bahedi police station area, and collided with an electric pole. A total of five people were injured in this incident. The car driver has also been injured in this incident. All the seriously injured people have been admitted to DMCH, where all the injured are undergoing treatment.
Police also attacked
As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot. Local people say that the police started intervening there. Seeing this, people got enraged and started pelting stones at the police. Three policemen including constable Govind Kumar were injured due to stone pelting by the people. In protest against stone pelting, the police also lathicharged them. Then as soon as the information about the incident was received, Sadar SDPO Amit Kumar reached the spot and after much effort controlled the situation there.
Incident caused by car driver losing control
Regarding the incident, the DSP present on the spot says that due to the driver losing control of the car, he hit four people and himself collided with the pole. All the injured are being treated in DMCH.
