Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha Ceremony PoK Muslim Sends Sharda Peeth Kund Holy Water To Ayodhya Via Britain

Sharda Peeth PoK Holy Water: A Muslim man from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) has collected holy water from Sharda Peeth Kund and sent it for the Ramlala Pran Pratistha ceremony going to be held on Monday (January 22) at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. This holy water has been sent to India via Britain through a series of carriers.

According to news agency PTI, Ravinder Pandit, founder of Save Sharda Committee Kashmir (SSCK), said that postal services between India and Pakistan were suspended after the 2019 Pulwama terrorist attack and Balakot air strike. For this reason, special arrangements were made to bring water to Ayodhya through another route. For this reason the holy water had to be brought through a circuitous route.

Holy water reached via Britain

The work of collecting the holy water of Sharda Kund in Sharda Peeth PoK was done by Tanveer Ahmed and his team. Members of our civil society across the LoC took this holy water to Islamabad, from where it was sent to his daughter Maghribi in Britain.

Ravinder Pandit said that Maghribi had handed over this holy water to Sonal Sher, a Kashmiri Pandit activist, who came to Ahmedabad in August 2023. From there this water reached me in Delhi.

SSCK formed civil society across LOC

He also said that the holy water did not come directly to India but traveled there via Europe. The main reason for this is that after the Balakot operation, all postal services between India and Pakistan were temporarily suspended. Sharda Sarvajna Peeth has been inaccessible since 1948 and SSCK has formed a civil society across the LoC in PoK.

After Sharda Temple, second big Pran Pratistha event will be held in Ayodhya

Giving further information Ravinder Pandit said, “They sent us soil, rock and now water from the pond. It is a matter of immense pride that on January 22, 2024 Ram Mandir Its sacred water is being used in the consecration of life. Last year on June 5, Shankaracharya of Sringeri had consecrated the Sharda temple. This is the second major consecration event since then.”

Celebration will be held in Sharda temple and lamps will be lit.

Founder Ravinder says that SSCK member Manjunath Sharma has handed over this holy water to the leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, who have handed it over to senior official Koteshwar Rao in Ayodhya on Saturday (January 20). The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be celebrated and lamps will be lit at the Sharda Temple near the LoC at Teetwal in Kupwara district.
