Now the company is working on another smoking feature. After the introduction of this new feature, users will be able to share voice notes on status. As of now, currently only photos, links, text and videos can be shared on WhatsApp status. These statuses remain on WhatsApp for 24 hours. After that they are automatically deleted.

In the latest report of WABetaInfo, a screenshot has been shared that WhatsApp has introduced the Voice Status feature for iOS beta users. Users are able to share only 30 seconds of voice status. At present, this feature is in the testing zone, it is being tested. It is expected that the voice status feature will soon be rolled out for all users.

The report further states that when the voice status feature is made available to users, they will be shown a microphone icon in the status section. By clicking on this icon, users will be able to record and share voice notes. Let us tell you that WhatsApp introduced the poll feature earlier this month. With this feature, users can ask questions through polls in single and group chats. Users have got the facility to add 12 options to the poll.
These features are also coming
Along with the voice status feature, WhatsApp is also working on the call tab feature. This feature is being added to the side-bar, from where users will be able to view chat list, status as well as call history. Apart from this, planning is also being done to launch the screen lock feature. With the Screen Lock feature, users will be able to lock WhatsApp on the desktop. Currently, both the features are being tested. It is estimated that the call tab will be rolled out in early December.
