Rashtriya Janata Dal quota minister Prof. After Chandrashekhar, now the turn of Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has come. Recently, after a dispute with KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Prof. Chandrashekhar’s department was changed. Now when Patna DM tried to confront him on the issue of Section 144 rights regarding winter leave, the government kept his name at the top of the IAS transfer list. That too, when the situation of the government itself is one of confusion. The IAS transfer list was released on Friday, the Republic Day holiday, in which the responsibility of Patna DM was given to Kapil Ashok, known as a flamboyant and energetic IAS officer.

2010 batch IAS officer Chandrashekhar Singh, while serving as the District Magistrate and Collector of Patna, was also holding the additional charge of the Settlement Officer of Patna. He has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat till further orders. Chandrashekhar Singh has also been made the Chief Executive Officer of Jeevika till further orders. After the dispute with KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, there was talk of his transfer like the minister and now Chandrashekhar Singh’s name is the first in the transfer list of Indian Administrative Service officers. Along with other things, he has also been given the responsibility of Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation, Patna and Director of State Mission for Rural Livelihood.
Shirat Kapil Ashok becomes DM of Patna
Kapil Ashok, a 2011 batch IAS officer, has been made the District Magistrate and Collector of Patna. He will also have the responsibility of District Magistrate of Patna. Title: Kapil Ashok was till now serving as the Inspector General of Prisons and Correctional Services, Bihar. He also held the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Home Department and Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited, Patna.
