Mohan Dhakale/Burhanpur:A strange case has come to light in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh. After not getting the benefit of Chief Minister Nikah Scheme for 7 months, the couple disguised as bride and groom reached the Collector’s office to complain. Seeing this scene, everyone kept giving him away.
The groom Naimuddin, who lives in Nagjhiri area, was married to Yasmin Bano, who lives in the area, in Khaknar Janpad Panchayat area on 21 June 2023. But even after seven months, they have not received the benefits of the scheme till date. That’s why he is making rounds of the government office. The bride and groom say that we have complained to the Panchayat and the District Panchayat but no hearing has taken place.
The bride and groom gave information
When groom Naimuddin and bride Yasmin Bano told Local 18 that I was married on 21 June 2023 under the Chief Minister Marriage and Civic Scheme in District Panchayat Khaknar. We applied to avail the benefits of the scheme. Our marriage was also solemnized by the administration. But today it has been 7 months, we have not received the benefit of the scheme. We are stumbling step by step. The officers are misleading us. Therefore today we have complained in writing to the collector.
Deputy Collector Veer Singh Chauhan gave information
When we talked to Deputy Collector Veer Singh Chauhan regarding this entire matter, he told that the bride and groom have complained about not getting the benefits of the scheme. Investigations are being done regarding this.
