After the incident, the body of the youth was thrown under the Noora bridge. Police recovered the body of the deceased on Wednesday morning. As soon as the information about the murder was received, the people of the village became furious. People started protesting fiercely by blocking the Patna-Gaya-Masauri road. The protesting people started demanding the arrest of the criminals.

Here, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Masaurhi police station reached the spot and started trying to convince the people. The deceased has been identified as Pankaj Kumar alias Chintu Chandravanshi (35), resident of Noora village. Family members told that Pankaj Kumar used to live in Noor village and support himself and his family by doing farming. Confirming the incident, Masodhi police station in-charge said that the police is investigating thoroughly at every point. He said that the CCTV around the incident site is also being scrutinized. When asked the reason for the incident, he said that no written application has been received from the family members yet.
Left home in the evening, found dead body in the morning
It is being told that Pankaj Kumar was thrown out of his house at 4:00 pm on Tuesday evening and after that he did not return. When the family members talked to Pankaj at 8:00 pm, he told that he was reaching near Handahi bridge. After this Pankaj’s mobile got switched off. Family members said that efforts were made to search for Pankaj Kumar throughout the night, but no clue was found. On Wednesday morning, the police recovered Pankaj’s body from under the Noora bridge.
