To introduce the statue of Lord Shri Ram to the country and the world, a fun exhibition will be organized in Nagari Pracharini Sabha from 14th February. A concentrated exhibition will be organized on Ramayana and the centuries-old Ramlilas of Banaras. There will also be presentations by renowned artists in this seven-day long exhibition. Personalities like Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, Malini Awasthi, Salil Bhatt, Ronu Majumdar, Kumar Bose and Kalapini Komkali will be a part of this special event.
Organized by ICCR, in this exhibition, along with Ramayana, masks, crowns of the ancient Ramlilas of Kashi, wooden toys, photographs of Ramlila will be displayed. Prime Minister of Nagari Pracharini Sabha, litterateur Vyomesh Shukla said that the exhibition will be organized in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts.
Apart from the characters from the episodes of Ramayana, the preserved plates of ancient Ramlilas of Kashi will also be displayed. During this period, apart from presentations by artists from across the country, there will be workshops and symposiums. There will be lectures by scholars and plays based on Ramayana. School children will be taken on heritage visit.
Exhibition on Shri Ram will be held in European countries also
Exhibition on Lord Shri Ram will also be organized in European countries. Vyomesh Shukla said that through ICCR, such exhibitions will also be organized in European countries. A team of artists performing drama based on Ramayana will also go. Through the exhibition, the life ideals and messages of Lord Shri Ram will be spread across the country and the world.
