Telangana PCC Members Quit: Internal discord seems to be intensifying in the Telangana unit of the Congress. Thirteen members of the State Congress Committee (PCC) on Sunday resigned in protest against the comments of some senior leaders that people from other parties have gained prominence in the Congress.

Congress MLA D. Anasuya (Sitakka) and former MLA V. Narendra Reddy are also included in these 13 members. Former Deputy Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Damodar Rajnarasimha said on Saturday that some former leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) would join the Congress if they were given due consideration in the party from other parties.
