However, in the neighboring country of China, a boy lost his life due to a minor dental issue, be it bad luck or the doctor’s negligence.
This incident happened in Hunan province of China. Here in Shenzhen, a 23 year old boy was having toothache. He reached his clinic to see the doctor. However, he did not expect that the doctor would treat him in such a way that it would become the last dental treatment of his life. This incident should alert everyone.
This is how toothache is treated
The boy’s name was Wang and he was complaining of toothache. He had reached Kuiyong People’s Hospital to show it. The dentist here tested the boy’s teeth and told that two of his teeth would have to be removed. The boy agreed to this and got the dental X-ray done. As soon as the boy stood up from his chair after having his tooth pulled, he fell unconscious. He was immediately sent for emergency treatment, where it was found that the boy was bleeding from the brain after having his teeth pulled out. The boy remained in a coma for 14 days and eventually died.

Not only this, when the family members came to know about the incident, they filed a case against the hospital. The medical staff has been accused of negligence. The family has demanded compensation of Rs 2,08,32,887 from the hospital but the hospital wants to settle the case for Rs 69,71,962. Wang’s dead body has been preserved as evidence for 5 months because with his cremation the evidence will also be destroyed.
