Jennifer Flewellen, a woman from Michigan, was seriously injured in a road accident five years ago in 2017. She was admitted to the hospital, but she went into a coma. Even after all efforts, when the doctors could not regain consciousness, they left him to God. But five years after this incident, Jennifer Flewellen opened her eyes on August 25, 2022. It so happened that Jennifer’s mother was standing near her bed and telling her some joke. Suddenly he saw that Jennifer stood up from the bed laughing in response to his joke.
In an interview given to the news magazine People, Jennifer’s mother Peggy Means told about this incident that when Jennifer woke up, at first she was scared because she was laughing and she had never done that. Means said that the door which was closed for a long time and which kept us (mother and daughter) apart, has now opened. We’re back.
Peggy Means told that Jennifer woke up, but could not wake up completely. She couldn’t speak. She was shaking her head. She told that in the beginning she still slept a lot, but then as the months passed, she started waking up more.
Jennifer is working hard to get her voice back and regain movement in all parts of her body. A team of doctors is helping in this work. A GoFundMe campaign has been started to help rebuild the disabled van and home.
Dr. Ralph Wang, his physician at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Michigan, says that this incident is actually very rare. He said that very few people come out of this type of coma and even if a few do come out, there is no significant progress in their body, but Jennifer is continuously improving. She also went to watch a football match with her son. Even doctors are considering it a miracle.
