In Siwan, brother-in-law killed his own sister-in-law by hitting her with an axe. It was told that there was already a dispute regarding property between Rajendra Yadav and his brothers, residents of Nawalpur village of Badharia police station area, due to which a fight started today.
The deceased’s husband Rajendra Yadav told that his father was on the post of watchman in Badharia. He died of a heart attack while on duty in 2020. Only after which the fight started in the house. The deceased’s husband says that after the death of their father, both the brothers keep beating us for taking a job on compassionate grounds. Today, my two brothers Santosh Yadav and Jitendra Yadav suddenly entered the house armed with knife, rod and axe, along with three-four other people, over the division of property and started abusing and fighting.
He said that both my brothers kept beating my wife with an axe, rod and knife until she died. After killing, both the brothers fled from the spot. The deceased has been identified as Kavitri Devi, 53, husband of Rajendra Yadav. After the incident, nearby people took the deceased to the hospital, where the team of doctors declared her dead.
Police assured arrest
While the post-mortem process was started by the police, the deceased’s husband Rajendra Yadav kept his wife’s body in the middle of the road and started demanding immediate arrest of his two brothers. After which the police pacified them and assured to arrest them soon.
