After taking bath in Prayagraj on Mauni Amavasya, a crowd of devotees gathered in Ramnagari. From ghats to monasteries, temples and streets were seen filled with devotees on Saturday. The arrangements collapsed due to the sudden crowd. In view of the huge crowd, traffic has been restricted in Ramnagari.
There is a procession of devotees on the Ram Janmabhoomi path. The arrangement for keeping and checking the luggage of the devotees has also failed due to the huge crowd. A large number of devotees are entering Ram Janmabhoomi with luggage and mobile phones. The locker system is proving inadequate. By 12:00 noon, more than 70,000 devotees had attended the court of Ram Lalla. Shoes and slippers of devotees are lying everywhere on the Ram Janmabhoomi path.

In the scriptures, after the bath in Prayagraj, the mythological significance of the bath in Saryu in Ayodhya is described. Due to this belief, devotees come to Ramnagari. The arrival of devotees of Prayagraj continued throughout the day on Saturday also. Lakhs of devotees took a dip in the holy Salila Saryu. After Saryu bath, the group of devotees reached Nageshwarnath temple. Where after Jalabhishek and puja, the devotees set out to pay obeisance at other temples.
There was a queue of devotees at Siddhpeeth Hanumangarhi. The police administration had to struggle to control the huge crowd that gathered here. The devotees who had entered the temple were being evacuated through the back route. Due to which many devotees got separated from their loved ones.
