Mithun Chakraborty Health: Due to deteriorating health of Mithun Chakraborty, he has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata. The actor complained of chest pain, after which he was admitted to the emergency ward. Apollo Hospital has issued an official statement regarding the actor’s health in which it is written that Mithun has suffered a brain stroke.
In the statement issued by Apollo Hospital, it was written – ‘National Award Winner Actor Shri Mithun Chakraborty (73) was brought to the Emergency Department of Apollo Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata at 9.40 am with the complaint of weakness in the right upper and lower limbs. MRI of his brain, necessary laboratory and radiology tests have been done.
How is Mithun’s condition now?
It is further written in the statement that ischemic cerebrovascular accident (stroke) has been detected in Mithun’s brain. At present the actor is completely conscious, healthy and is taking a soft diet. The hospital said, ‘Mithun Chakraborty will be further evaluated by a team of doctors including neuro-physician, cardiologist and gastroenterologist.’ Earlier, his son Mimoh Chakraborty had also confirmed to E-Times that Mithun is fine now and it was just a routine check-up.
