A divisional level press conference of the Rural Journalists Association was held on 14 February in the Krishnanjali Auditorium at the Government Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition of Aligarh. In which emphasis was laid on journalist unity. Keynote speaker Rajnarayan Singh said that a journalist is the true watchman of the society. A journalist’s pen should be sharp.
Asso. Mandal President Ramnaresh Chauhan said that it is in the interest of all of us to strengthen the organization. He expressed his opinion regarding the safety of journalists. Shiv Om Sharma shared his views regarding present day media. Sanjay Sharma said, a clean society cannot be imagined without journalists. City Magistrate Ramashankar said that a journalist works as a bridge between the government, administration and the public. Also assured that whatever problems the rural journalists face will be resolved.
