Shalini, daughter of Titu Valmiki, resident of Mohalla Indrapuri, was playing on the terrace on Friday morning. Suddenly many monkeys came there. Shalini started shouting at this. Adarsh (16) reached the terrace to save his sister from monkeys. First he brought his sister down. While coming down, his foot slipped due to fear of the monkey’s scolding.
He suffered a serious head injury after falling headlong on the floor. Seeing the blood flowing from her son’s head, mother Sudha shouted and gathered the people nearby. Adarsh died while being taken to the hospital for treatment.
On reaching the hospital the doctor declared him dead. Adarsh was the eldest of Titu’s five children. After the accident, the family members are in bad condition and crying. Local people said that there is terror of monkeys in the town. Unruly monkeys attack people every day and injure them. Even after complaint they are not being caught.
