Under Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra-2.0, the distance between two famous youth leaders of Bihar got erased. One of them is Tejashwi Yadav and the other is Kanhaiya Kumar. There were many conversations between the two leaders during the Nyay Yatra. Initially Kanhaiya remained alone but as soon as the Nyay Yatra reached Rohtas, former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav came along. While being in alliance, these two young leaders, who till now had avoided sharing the stage together, also shared the stage. Not only this, when Tejashwi was handling the driving seat for Rahul in Rohtas, Kanhaiya Kumar was also traveling in that car.
RJD had fielded its candidate against Kanhaiya
The matter is about 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Kanhaiya Kumar was in CPI at that time. At that time, there was talk of alliance of CPI’s seats with RJD, but the matter went haywire. CPI had fielded its young leader as its candidate from Begusarai. Being a leftist ideology, other left parties did not field candidates against Kanhaiya. At that time Kanhaiya was giving a strong challenge to the BJP candidate Giriraj Singh. This seat had become a popular hot seat across the country. Therefore, CPI was trying to ensure that despite not having an alliance, other opposition parties should not field candidates against Kanhaiya. Despite this, RJD fielded a candidate against him. Although Kanhaiya had lost the election at that time, but with this election he established himself as a youth leader in the politics of Bihar.
Kanhaiya Kumar joined Congress from CPI
Later Kanhaiya Kumar joined Congress. Congress accepted him wholeheartedly and he became established as the youth leader of Bihar in Congress. After joining Congress, this young leader also became a part of the Grand Alliance of Bihar, but both the leaders kept avoiding sharing the stage together. Now Tejashwi and Kanhaiya have shared the stage together. This occasion came when Rahul Gandhi’s Bihar Phase-2 Yatra of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra-2.0 reached Sasaram via Aurangabad. Bihar’s famous youth leader Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav also reached Sasaram to join the yatra, where Tejashwi took the driving seat for Rahul Gandhi. Bihar Congress youth leader Kanhaiya also rode in that vehicle along with Rahul Gandhi. From here the matter progressed and in Rahul Gandhi’s dialogue held in Mohania, Kaimur, both Tejashwi and Kanhaiya shared the stage together, which both the leaders had avoided till now.
