Artists like Sanjivani Srivastava, Atranshi Singh, Jayshree Srivastava, Jhanvi Tiwari, Vaidehi Batham etc. of Birju Maharaj Kathak Sansthan made the entire atmosphere Ram-filled by presenting Kathak dance drama on Ram Stuti. The presentation was directed by Sarita Srivastava and choreography was by Rajendra Gangani.
As soon as Bollywood singer Monali Thakur took the stage, the magic of her songs started speaking to the youth. The youth danced to the songs like Ye Mohe Mohe Ke Dhaage Teri Angulion Se Ja entangled, Cham Cham Cham etc.
Visitors were overwhelmed after seeing the culture of UP
In GBC 4.0, visitors from many corners of the country saw the culture of UP from the airport to Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Seeing the folk dance here, everyone said – wonderful. Rajesh Sharma of Mathura and his team members presented Peacock folk dance at Gate Number-1 of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. At 1090 intersection, the passersby who stopped to watch the Dhobia folk dance of Umesh Kannaujiya and his team from Azamgarh, encouraged them with the sound of Kartal.
Vijay Yadav-Sheetala Prasad Verma of Ayodhya presented Faruvahi folk dance, Prakriti Yadav presented Awadhi folk dance, Rajesh Gaur and Satish Kumar Kaharwa folk dance of Azamgarh presented. Ghazipur’s Sulturam Dhobia folk dance, Prayagraj’s Preeti Singh and Kriti Srivastava team Dhedhiya folk dance, Jhansi’s Nishant Singh Bhadauria and Imran Khan Rai, Mathura’s Khajan Singh and Mahipal Singh team along with Bamarsia folk dance won a lot of applause. Lakhan Lal Yadav of Mahoba and Akhilesh Yadav of Banda forced everyone to dance on Diwari-Pyidanda folk dance. Katwaru tribal folk dance of Sonbhadra, Asha Kumari Jhumar folk dance of Sonbhadra, Santosh Singha tribal folk dance and Bunty Rana Tharu folk dance of Pilibhit were presented.
