Due to the active western disturbance amid seasonal changes, there was drizzle in many parts of the state on Monday. The Meteorological Department has predicted drizzle in many areas including Lucknow on Tuesday.
Wind may blow at some places at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour, while a warning of hailstorm has also been issued at many places in western UP. There are chances of hailstorm in Agra, Aligarh, Baghpat, Bijnor, Etah, Firozabad, Hathras, Mathura, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Shamli and surrounding areas.
According to senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh and meteorologist HR Ranjan, there was drizzle in Najibabad, Aligarh, Agra, Prayagraj. Since the mercury had already increased and the rain remained only a drizzle, there was not much impact on the temperature. The maximum temperature of the day in Agra was 30.4 degrees, in Hamirpur it was 29.2 degrees.
The day temperature in the state remained more than 24 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, Agra, Aligarh, Amroha, Badaun, Bareilly, Baghpat, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Etah, Firozabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Hathras, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Mathura, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal, Yellow alert has been issued for Shamli and surrounding areas.
