In fact, farmers are afraid that due to the rising price of garlic, theft may start, hence farmers are now seen making security arrangements in the fields. Recently a shocking incident came to light from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh.
Here, farmers have installed CCTV cameras in their garlic fields and have also deployed some laborers, so that no one steals the garlic crop. In Sanwari of Mohkhed area of Chhindwara, farmers have installed CCTV cameras in their fields for surveillance, through which the crops growing in the fields and the laborers working in the fields are being monitored. After the harvest, the cameras will be removed from the fields.
This time garlic is a profitable deal
Farmer Rahul Deshmukh said that garlic theft can be prevented by installing CCTV cameras in the fields. The laborers working in the fields are also being monitored. In such a situation, if theft or any accident happens, you can see it. This time garlic cultivation is proving to be a profitable deal for the farmers. At least one acre is earning an income of Rs 5 lakh.
Many farmers installed cameras one after the other
At the same time, Gajanand Deshmukh, who installed cameras in the farmers’ fields, said that if some things are expensive then there is a fear of theft and loss. A farmer got scared regarding garlic. After this, on his order we installed CCTV cameras in the field. The farmer got good results. There was no damage of any kind in the field. Additionally, workers sitting at home can also be monitored. After seeing this benefit, other farmers also got inspired. Three to four other farmers have also installed CCTV cameras in their fields.
