Thirteen houses were gutted in a fire incident at different places in Bihar’s West Champaran district on Saturday evening. After the fire, the victims’ families are in poor condition and crying. Both the incidents of fire occurred in Manjhariya and Mathura villages of Narkatiaganj block of the district.
According to the information, she is from Manjhariya village located in Binwalia Panchayat of Narkatiaganj block. Where five houses were burnt due to fire, in which property worth lakhs of rupees including grains, utensils and other materials kept in the houses were completely destroyed. However, the fire brigade vehicle that reached the spot after receiving information about the fire saved other houses from burning.
Giving this information, Binwalia’s PACS President Munna Singh said that the fire started due to the spark of incense sticks. The thatched house caught fire due to the spark of incense sticks lit during worship in the house. Within no time the flames intensified. The fire that broke out in one house was caught by other thatched houses built nearby. The fire was so severe that the villagers failed to extinguish it. In this way, five houses were burnt to ashes.
In this fire incident, the thatched house of Chhotalal Mukhiya, Rajan Mukhiya, Bandhu Mukhiya, Umesh Mukhiya and Ajay Mukhiya of Manjhariya village has been burnt. All the stuff kept in the house has been burnt to ashes.
The second incident took place in Mathura village of Narkatiaganj block. Where eight houses were burnt due to fire. Due to the fire, the houses of Lalan Bean, Moti Teli, Ramji Teli, Sunar Teli, Banhu Teli, Madan Teli, Vikrama, Mohar Teli and Sanjay Prasad were burnt to ashes.
Gokula’s chief representative Roshan Vyahut said that the fire broke out suddenly in the evening. Seeing the flames, the villagers ran to extinguish it, but the flames were so strong that the villagers failed to extinguish the fire. However, the fire could be controlled with the help of the fire brigade. Lalan Bean has suffered the most damage. It was his daughter’s wedding. But in this incident everything was burnt to ashes. However, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
At the same time, Police Station Head Avnish Kumar said that on receiving information about the fire, the fire brigade was sent to the spot. Here, CO Sudhanshu Shekhar said that information about a fire incident has been received. The employee is being sent for investigation. Compensation will be given to the affected families for assistance.
