Employees embezzled goods worth Rs 50.79 lakh from the delivery hub in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The accused left the job after the company’s investigation revealed this. The company official has filed a case against the four named. Police is investigating.

The matter pertains to the logistics company located in Lawyers Colony of New Agra police station area. Dev Nagar resident Rakesh Kumar Sharma has filed a case in the matter. In this, Pratyush Aggarwal of Lucknow, Hub Incharge Shivani, resident of Shekhar Residency (Sikandra), Muskan Shahu, resident of Ayodhya and Ankit Upadhyay, resident of Jagner have been named.

Rakesh Kumar told the police that the registered office of Instracart Services Private Limited company is in Karnataka. The company deals with logistics, storage, warehousing and transportation. After keeping the goods in the warehouse, they are supplied to others.

Team leaders made goods worth Rs 50 lakh disappear

The company has a pickup hub in Lawyers Colony. In this, all three accused were deployed as team leaders. He operated the delivery hub. In December 2023, the company learned that merchandise returning to the hub was being embezzled. It was investigated. It was discovered that team leaders had made 8826 products missing. Their price is Rs 50.79 lakh.

Police registered a case

On knowing this, the employees left the job. Now the mobile phones of the accused are also being switched off. In this case, ACP Syed Arib Ahmed said that a case of fraud and breach of trust has been registered. Action will be taken after collecting evidence.
