In village Bulakipur, a young man who had gone to the neighbor’s roof to bring a cylinder got electrocuted by the high tension line passing through the roof. Due to this the young man died. Dishes were to be made for his sister’s dedication, for which a cylinder was required. Due to the death of the young man, mourning has spread in the happy house.

Sanjay’s younger sister Tanu’s wedding is on March 3 and marriage is on March 5. Dishes and sweets were to be prepared for this. 27-year-old Sanjay Kumar, son of Parmal Singh, had come to bring a gas cylinder from the room located on the terrace of his neighbor Padam Singh at around 9 am on March 1. A high tension line emerged from five feet above the roof, which touched Sanjay Kumar’s head. Due to this he got badly burnt due to electric shock. As soon as the information was received, the family members immediately took him to the doctor where Sanjay Kumar was declared dead. Due to his death, his family members were in sad condition.

On receiving information from the family, SDM Khair Digvijay Singh, SDO Praveen Kumar, CO Rajiv Dwivedi and police station reached the spot. After inspecting the spot, SDM ordered to remove the high tension line from the roof. The deceased left behind a five year old son. He was the only brother among three sisters. His wife Monica and mother Mithlesh Devi were crying badly.

High tension line hanging over 15 houses

According to the villagers, the high tension line is hanging over 15 houses in the village. It will be just five feet above the roofs. Despite repeated requests, the Electricity Department is not getting it removed. Due to this, accidents have happened in the village before. According to the villagers, Arun son Ramesh Singh died about five years ago. After this, a resident of village Balanpur, who had come to do some work, was electrocuted, whose life was saved after treatment. A few months ago, Mahipal Singh, husband of Moharshree, resident of Bulakipur, was also electrocuted by the high tension line passing through the roof.

It is very sad that Sanjay died due to electric shock. Departmental officials have been ordered to investigate and take action. Negligent employees will not be spared.
