Karnataka Assembly Case: Three arrested in Pakistan-backed sloganeering outside Karnataka Assembly


Anti India Slogan In Karnataka Assembly: Three people have been arrested in the case of pro-Pakistan sloganeering outside Karnataka Legislative Assembly. In fact, BJP had alleged that after the victory of Rajya Sabha MP Naseer Hussain in Karnataka, his supporters raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad outside the Assembly.

The video of this sloganeering also went viral on social media. Karnataka Police has arrested Mohammad Shabi of Haveri, Munavvar of Bengaluru and Imtiaz of Delhi in this case.

What is the matter?
Slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were allegedly raised by supporters of Congress candidate Naseer Hussain after his victory in the Rajya Sabha elections. After this, a complaint was lodged in the Assembly police station by the Assembly Security Department. BJP condemned the incident and later protested in front of the police station demanding action against the accused. The video footage has been sent to private FSL for investigation.

Sloganeering confirmed in FSL report?
BJP on Monday (4 March) claimed that the FSL report has confirmed the raising of pro-Pakistan slogans in the Karnataka Assembly by the Congress leader’s supporters.

The party posted a report on its X handle claiming that it was from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). FSL officials have not yet responded to this. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara have claimed that they have not received the FSL report yet.

,‘Congress is misleading the people of Karnataka’

BJP said on social media, “The report has proved that Congress leaders are experts in distorting the truth and spreading false news. The Congress, which is trying to fool the people of Karnataka, has been exposed. ‘Naseer Saab’ is calling the slogan of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ as Zindabad.”

The party has demanded Minister Priyank Kharge to apologize to the people of Karnataka. BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly R. Ashok and former BJP general secretary C.T. Ravi has challenged the government to make the report public.
