The app will come in a new design
Actually, the government already runs an accessible app for the disabled, which is now being prepared to be launched again. This app will be redesigned and equipped with AI. It has been told that this app will now also have annual reports, data of districts, information about schemes, decisions of the Supreme Court and other courts. For this, an MoU has been signed between the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and the NGO Mission Accessibility and National Association for the Blind and ISTEM.
In the new and updated Sugamya app, information will be available in many languages. Disabled people can also get all types of information through chatbot. It has been told by the government that through this, work will be done to empower the disabled across the country. This will be a one stop center for all the disabled people, where they will be able to see everything related to their work.
