In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, villagers pelted stones at the police team that had gone to remove encroachment from government land. There was a huge uproar during the action of the district administration team. Two-three police personnel were injured in this incident. This incident is being reported from Murarpur village of Baruraj police station area of the district. After the information, SDM West, DSP West and police from several police stations reached the spot. Actually, the police had arrived to remove encroachments on the road of Biada land.
According to the information, as soon as the police team reached to remove the ongoing encroachment on the road of government land of Biada located in Murarpur of Baruraj police station area of Muzaffarpur district on Wednesday, the encroachers present there started protesting. After that the police and administration asked them to step back, after which the villagers became angry. After that, those people attacked the police team, due to which a situation of chaos was created at the spot.
After that, police and administration people from many police stations reached the spot and started pacifying the people. Due to this the encroachers became even more angry and started pelting stones at the police team. Seeing the situation going out of control, the police chased away the encroachers, after which they started pelting stones again. During this time many police personnel got injured. After that the police used tear gas and started camping on the spot.
Regarding this matter, City SP Awadhesh Dixit said that the team had gone to Motipur block area on the orders of the district administration to vacate the road occupied by Biada land. But the encroachers started protesting and attacked the police. Some soldiers have been injured in this. Right now the situation there is completely under control. Two people have been detained and the situation is being monitored, the matter is calm now.
