Regarding this, CBI also conducted raids at many places in India. CBI has named 17 agents in this case, who used to trap people by giving them false assurance of well-paid jobs in Russia.
In this case, the role of a person named Faisal Abdul Mutallib Khan has come to light, who had promised many people high salary jobs in the Russian Army. He runs a recruitment agency and a popular YouTube channel named Baba Blog.
Faisal Khan runs a consultancy firm
Faisal Khan (30 years) runs a manpower consultancy firm, which provides employees in many countries. Faisal Khan told the Indian Express that he sent 35 people to Russia. He was told by handlers in Russia that he would not be deployed on the front lines of the war. Faisal Khan claimed that he tried to bring back Indians sent to Russia. According to Faisal Khan, what happened after the Indians reached Russia was beyond his control.
Faisal Khan said that those who went to Russia knew that there was a war going on there and there was danger. If our intention was to deceive them, we would not have left any trace. I did not remove my videos on Russia because I am not guilty.
Used to work as a salesman in Dubai
Faisal Khan is a resident of Dadar, Mumbai. He went to Dubai in 2008 and worked as a salesman there. In 2016, Faisal started his consultancy BabaVlogs. In 2018, Faisal Khan was questioned by Indian authorities after a man sent on his behalf to Dubai claimed to have converted to Islam.
Accusation of sending people to Russia from the year 2023
Faisal Khan has three lakh followers on YouTube. He posted his last video on January 8, in which he is talking about the visit visa of New Zealand. According to the report of Indian Express, Faisal Khan started sending people to Russia for jobs from July 2023. He had said in the video that those working in the Russian Army will get a salary of Rs 40,000 to Rs 1 lakh after three months of training.
Faisal Khan claimed in the video that the Russian army needs people to clear buildings and take care of weapons and ammunition. In the video, Faisal had also demanded an initial fee of Rs 3 lakh for his company.
