Additional Director General of Police Agra Zone Anupam Kulshrestha came to Hathras on 9 March. He took stock of the arrangements for conducting peaceful and fair Lok Sabha elections. In view of the Lok Sabha elections, the ADG inspected the RPM Degree College located on Kota Road, the place of stay of the paramilitary force allotted to the district, and Lord Krishna Public School located on Mathura Road in Kotwali Hathras Gate area. ADG Zone inquired about the well-being of the Paramilitary Force (ITBP) soldiers staying at RPM Degree College and talked to Company Commander Vaibhav about the availability of basic facilities. The ADG directed to make adequate arrangements for the soldiers to stay, food, water, electricity, toilets, bathrooms and space to park vehicles etc.
ADG said that through drone cameras, intensive surveillance is being done in the area and people creating disturbances during the elections are being identified. During this, SP Nipun Aggarwal, ASP Ashok Kumar, CO City Rampravesh Rai, CO Sadabad Gopal Singh, SHO Kotwali Sadar Vijay Kumar, SHO Sadabad Mukesh Kumar and other officers and policemen were present.
