Pakistan Car Blast: A car blast has taken place in a crowded area in Islamabad, Pakistan. The blast took place in the I-10 sector of the city. According to the information, as soon as the police stopped the suspicious car, the attacker blew himself up.
According to the information, a policeman has been martyred in this suicide attack and at least six people including four police officers and two civilians have been injured. Islamabad Police has also informed about this by tweeting.

A suicide bomber in the vehicle blew himself up shortly after the car stopped near the officers. DIG of Islamabad gave information
Briefing the media, Islamabad’s Deputy Inspector General of Police Sohail Zafar Chatha said, “The police spotted a vehicle carrying a man and a woman near I-10/4 at 10:15 am. After officers found the suspect, Vehicle searched.” “The couple came out of the car and while being checked by the officers, the youth again entered the vehicle on some pretext and blew himself up,” he said.

In another tweet, the police said, “Service Road East of Sector I-10/4 has been diverted for two-way traffic.” Following the incident, citizens have been advised to use Service Road West of Sector I-10/4 as an alternative.
