There was panic among the passengers of Jaynagar-Danapur Intercity Express in Darbhanga after seeing smoke coming out from the brake of a bogie of the train near Kakarghati station. However, due to the wisdom of the driver, a major accident was averted. The station master present at the spot said, this is not a big deal. Now being a high speed train, smoke has come out due to sudden application of brakes.
According to the information, after the Danapur-Jaynagar Intercity Express train between Darbhanga and Sakri Junction opened from Kakarghati station, after leaving some distance, sparks and smoke started coming out from the brake shoe. Seeing the passengers, they raised an alarm and the driver stopped the train, after which the railway personnel present there brought it under control. This train was stopped before Tarasarai station. As soon as the train stopped, there was some chaos among the passengers but the disturbance was rectified by the railway personnel and the passengers were asked to remain in the train by the Railway Police. After stopping for a long time, the train moved ahead and left for Patna.
At the same time, when asked in this regard, Station Master of Darbhanga Junction Manoj Kumar said that now the speed of trains has become high. Due to lack of line clearance near Kakarghati station, the train had to be stopped suddenly, due to which smoke came out due to friction from the wheel. There is no question of fire in the train.
