There was fierce firing between two groups in the vegetable market located in Punaichak, Patna late on Tuesday night. Three youths were injured in this firing. All the injured youth have been admitted to Patna Medical College Hospital in Patna for treatment. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Shastri Nagar police station reached the spot and started scanning the CCTV cameras around the incident spot. Confirming the incident, Shastri Nagar police station in-charge said that investigation is being done by whom and why the firing was done.

Regarding the incident, local people say that late on Tuesday night, two groups clashed near Punaichak vegetable market. In this case there was heavy firing from both the groups. The firing incident created panic in the entire area. People nearby started running here and there to save their lives. Local people informed this to Shastri Nagar police station.
Police took the injured to the hospital
It is being told that as soon as information about the incident was received, Shastri Nagar police station in-charge reached the spot with the team and started investigating the entire matter. Shastri Nagar police station in-charge confirmed the incident and said that the firing incident was carried out by some youth. He told that three youths named Gunjan Kumar Thakur, Ajay Kumar and Jitendra Rai were injured in this case. He said that all the injured have been admitted to PMCH for treatment.

After the incident, the police along with the local people have started scanning the CCTV cameras of the spot. He said that the police is conducting a raid campaign against the criminals who opened fire. He told that soon all the criminals will be arrested. At present he has refused to tell anything about the reason for the incident.
